Two Police Officers Have Been Arrested After Shooting A Woman With A Pellet Gun Instead Of Arresting

Apparently, in Healdon, OK a woman and her friend were at Healdon Municipal Lake last August, when they heard shots being fired. They reported this to police.

However, when the police arrived, they found that the woman had a warrant for hot check charges. They told that woman that they wouldn't arrest her, if she would let them shoot her with a pellet gun. Apparently, the officers had been suspended without pay, until a couple of days ago when they were finally fired over the bizarre incident.

Please see the link below for the article. There was also a more recent article that came out on Nov. 25, and was first told on the news that date, however, I can not find it on the Web. It doesn't state much more, except that the woman had several bruises on her back and neck.

It certainly leaves much to the imagination. I have a strong feeling that there was more involved than has been reported. The whole thing just doesn't make any sense at all. Very strange, IMO.
