Viruis?

A few days ago i downloaded a snes super mario game off a files share programe it said the file was corupted so i deleted it then actuly while i was on these fourms limewaire (the prograame i used to download it) kept on opening by itself so a restarted my pc but it kept happining so i unistaled limewire becuase it was getting really annoying then when i was playing halo online it kpet getting slow and framy i thought this was the game so i played battlefield to see did the same thing happen and guess what it did,the game would run fine then really slow for about 30 sec then fine for another 10 min or so,so while turning on my pc about 15 min while i was dialing up i realised my dial up usaer name and password wer changed

What you have described is that p2p worm. I'm sorry I can't help with your game or your password changing.

there's something running in your background

run msconfig in the run option in your startmenu
go to startup and REMOVE ANYTHING that looks suspicous.

go to the regedit and do the same in software/windows/run
