I suspect the test of being an NWO key-logger spybot implanting protocol. My main question right now is to question your motives in posting this here in the first place.

On the other hand, this whole site is a construct of the NSA mainframe, so I'm not sure it matters any more.

Upload Speed: 138 kbps (17.3 KB/sec transfer rate)

I hate dial up... Weird tho that my upload is faster then my download...

Bit irrelevant for me:

Download Speed: 1795 kbps (224.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 177 kbps (22.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

However, my nearest server I decided was in Washington, but living near London (UK) these results are never going to be accurate. My quoted speed by my ISP is 2 Mbps Downstream and 256 kbps upstream (ADSL [Via a 22 Mbps Wireless connection to my router]).

I wonder how much it would cost a residential user to get the same kind of speed FredT has!

Out of interest, does anyone know of any good FREE system performance benchmarking tools (that cover a good range of tests)?

My result was 3105 kbps down and 664 kbps up.

The fastest I'm aware of for residential is cable modem.

For business T1 cost round 500$-1500$ per month, FredT is lucky enough to be alone on the channel, T1 can become slower when shared between many people in the same building.

Then you have T3 = 45 Mbps for around $7000 to $15000 per month.

OC-3 = 155 Mbps
OC-12 = 622 Mbps
...etc...

I wonder what's the pricing for OC-3072 = 159.252 Gbps I bet if they told me they would have to kill me.
