Municipal broadband Internet is already in the works for Philly, PA.

This time in 2006 will see wireless connecticity city wide with high-speed wired access being offered as a municipal option.

Water, Sewage, Trash and Internet[Connectivity].

More and more cities, towns and municipalities are realising the benefits of broadband connectivity for the masses.

Upload Speed: 85 kbps (10.6 KB/sec transfer rate)

Download Speed: 177 kbps (22.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 79 kbps (9.9 KB/sec transfer rate)

Download Speed: 200 kbps (25 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 57 kbps (7.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

Not sure, I have a 1.5mbps cable modem, so not sure what that means. Of course I have Bitcomet and Limewire running right now so might slow that down or something.

Download Speed: 1413 kbps (176.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 136 kbps (17 KB/sec transfer rate)

Download Speed: 1419 kbps (177.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 136 kbps (17 KB/sec transfer rate)

Download Speed: 1424 kbps (178 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 136 kbps (17 KB/sec transfer rate)

Much Better.
