Former US president Bill Clinton seized the Democratic stage Saturday night, offering one of his strongest denunciations of US President George W. Bush since leaving office as he tried to rally Democrats here around candidates who have yet to stir the excitement he did in 1992.

Good for him man. I always though Clinton was an ok guy and anyone who is trying to give the democrats a needed kick up the ass so they can beat the current "president" is doing goodwork in my books.

The only democratic candidate with a chance is John Edwards. If you think cross-eyed Howard Dean or Al Sharpton will do any "real" good for this country, keep dreaming.

Howard Dean is the only candidate who has a plan, and the only real chance to beat shrub. His internet based grass roots effort is gaining momentum and money!!!

Dean for America in 2004!!

Bill Clinton needs to learn when it is time for him to go hide in his hole for good. The only thing he is really worring about is when his viagra supply will run out, and if so what monica is going to say. As to the democratic party's presidential candidates, A bunch of monkeys. If you watched the debates you understand what i am saying.

It won't change a damn thing,Bush follows the same policies as Clinton,he just changed the names or adopted policy the same as Clinton while saying it was something different.
Clinton passed legislation that allows Bush to do what he has and is doing, any democratic or republican candidate won't do a damn thing to fix what is wrong here.
The next step is to push those thrashing to survive heads under (us) so everyone panics about the economy and something will have to be done,or it will collapse, either way they get that "martial law" that they so fervently seek, and then we'll be screwed.
America will amount to nothing more than a third world country in less than 5 years.

Democrats. Republicans, Independants, libertarians etc... It's all the same bull just a different face. The president doesn't doe anytthing but follow order and do what the people who are really in charge want them to do.

Wow! You've been digging hard to find this one. I assume your opinion is we could substitute 'lick' for 'kick?'

No but I could substitute politics.
I honestly want to see a four or eight year term limits for senators, governors etc.. I want to see & hear all ideas and theories of what can be done to better the world by other people then just the ones who have been there long enough to become corrupt.

Here's an idea for you. In just 6 short months, every member of the House of Representatives will up for reelection. approximately one third of the US Senate will also be up for reelection. How about a simple grass roots campaign of "vote the bums out!"

Of course, that would require people actually caring about who runs their government, and how its run.... never mind, just a brief moment of insanity there...

You can't kick Bush's ass because he can't run for a third term.

Nice try though.

I get it. It will take people with sense and a knowledge of how the world works to vote. That's not so abundant now days.
People need to be more involved instead of leaving it up to a few to decide.

Well, don't be sad, there is another way. This one actually worked once when it was tried before. Wasn't pretty, and a lot of people got hurt, but it seems to be the final end for any regime which becomes too unresponsive and even repressive to its people.

I personally don't like the idea, since it is a bit on the extreme. I tend to prefer the simpler ways, peace, harmony, freedom, that sort of thing.

Oh, you want to know that other way? I'll let you look it up, just google the date 1776 and the country is Britain.

I knew it before you posted.
I hope it doesn't come down to that, but if we need to then so be it.
