Commences Research for TMC Entertainment’s
Continuing Faith-Based Series, Bible Journeys

LOS ANGELES --- Professor Daniel L. Smith-Christopher (Professor of Old Testament Studies and Director of Peace Studies, Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles) has commenced research for the next three projects in TMC Entertainment’s continuing biblical television series, Bible Journeys.

As a global television production and distribution company, emphasizing faith-based and family-oriented series and specials, TMC Entertainment has recently completed post-production on Walking the Bible, its three-hour high-definition primetime miniseries scheduled to air on the PBS Network during first quarter 2006.
“In Professor Smith-Christopher, we have found a scholar with impeccable credentials and a solid background in both biblical and cultural studies, who will conduct the research for our upcoming religious programming,” commented Drew S. Levin, Chairman and CEO of TMC.

Walking the Bible is the first in a series of Bible Journeys, the archaeological/travel/inspirational projects currently in production and preproduction through TMC’s faith-based initiative. Under the direction of Levin and Raymond Bell, Worldwide Sales, TMC’s Religious Merchandising and Licensing Division will market worldwide TV sales, DVD and video distribution, music CD’s, children’s games, and educational packages for churches and temples, both domestically and internationally.
