How Important are Points to You?

As for me, the only points I have felt the need to use is for more u2u space.
Some here wonder about points and how one can accumulate so many, in my case.
I care not for points, so please may I make it clear, I love this site and what it is doing for the world..peace..

They're just there. I donated 60K points (all I had at the time, to change the board point system) and for a while was flat broke. Only mattered when I couldn't buy access to RATS anymore!

I didn't find them important after the first 2 weeks of being a member. I do think they are important when I've been told I am supposed to get some but I haven't. But that is about promises, not the points them selves.

I wish something cost like, 50,000 points. That would be fun .

I hoard my points. I look down at those that have few points. I pity them.

Actually it doesnt matter at all.

I don't even think about it.

I love them, cant get enough.

If I dont have them and I want to change my background it sucks, that is all I think about them.

points are quite important for ats, its fun to be able to earn the points and actually be able to use your earned point for access areas on the board and changing the back ground etc.
i think it was a amasing idea!

I was close to 900K, but like Parreshia, I spent 800K voting on the new points system. The most expensive item used to be the email for 15,000 points. but thats no avalible anymore.

Soon, baby, soon ... Oh, where was I?

When I was brand new to ATS, I was extremely aware of how few points I had. But I soon realised that making good posts and participating in the community was more rewarding. Points come as a matter of course. It's how you get them that matters.

After spending a few points for the yellow background and a few other things, I really never thought about them. I do use them to get more upload space when I put pictures in, but thats about it.

I never put news submissions in ATSNN and don't start many threads, so I have never earned many points in the first place.

Do you think less of me for not having many points???

If you are judging people by points, you might as well judge them by their avatar you shallow #.

Not a big deal. If I had enough, I'd spend 'em on RATS just out of curiosity. At this rate, should only take about a year.

i think my life is more important than internet points to behonest

im not really bothered by them to behonest, i have always said the old non-point system was much better and fun

No, but when BTS project be at the store requiring points, feel free to spend them all there, I know I am.
