If ats made an album/s...an album with the theme being the obvious theme of the site which songs would you say should be on it?

here some:

Men In Black by the Stranglers (off The Raven album) was much better, with alien voices and a description of the feeding habits of the grey men on farmed homo sapiens flesh.

The Stranglers did a whole lot of ATS-relevant material in their 15-year initial career with Hugh Cornwell, and continue to kick out the jams (or at least Jean Jacques Burnel's throaty bass) to this day with many songs of suspense, mystery and all out assault on the establishment and conservative ideas.

The best themes for ATS though were:

* all the Men IN Black and alien references
* secret society stuff
* the Valdimir (& Olga, and many other) ballads about the fallen KGB spy
* copious imagery in relation to sewers, rats, heaven and hell and all manner of religious things in the same song.

The most alarming thing about all of that is just how melodic, tuneful and listenable they have always been.

The Burt Bacharachs of punk.
