None of the avatars Ive tried worked..
when I go to google images and type in the web address the pic comes up/appears so I figure its an available pic but when I go to my account/edit profile and type in the web address of the pic in the avatar box/line it never works. Usualy they end in jpg or png, ect. (for example lg_seo_24.jpg or cache.tias.com/stores/tnc/thumbs/2351a.jpg) How can you tell if a pic is a workable avatar/profile pic?

Your selection may be too big. Check this out:

There are a few things that may cause this problem.

I recommend downloading the picture to your hard drive then uploading to a service like www.photobucket.com.... Then you can link you avatar from there.

Also make sure it fits ATS avatar guidelines

Good luck

I used the edit picture option to make mine small enough.

Post the full URL of some images you are suggesting.

After that much can be done

I just uploaded mine here right off of my hard drive. Why would somebody have to use a web picture storage?

The reason your image isn't loading is because you have entered the URL as:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

It should in fact be:

cache.tias.com...

It is quite small, perhaps you would like to make it larger or conform to the maximum avatar size.
