I as well have no idea how to take screenshots on a windows computer seeing as I just made the switch from my paperweight imac g4.

To screencap on Winblows:
Hit the Printscreen button to copy a screenshot to the clipboard, then paste (Ctrl+P or right-click-->"paste") into an image editing program. If you hit Alt+Printscreen it will capture only the active window.
