CNN is reporting that a levee has broken in the Ninth ward of New Orleans and water is said to now be covering most if not all of the area with water
still gushing in. It is unknown if this is a new break or one that reoccured from hurricane Katrina.
Water poured over a patched levee Friday, cascading into one of the city's lowest-lying neighborhoods and heightening fears that Hurricane Rita
would re-flood this devastated city.

Army Corp. of engineers is stating there is no way to know how many people are in the immediate area and do to wind problems they cannot launch
helicopters to inspect the extent of the damage.
This does not sound good at all.
