After not having a lucid dream for several years I decided I wanted to start having them again. So here's what I did:
I kept a pen and several pieces of paper in my bedroom, and every single night I wrote "All my dreams are lucid" seventeen times, sometime before
going to bed. After four weeks I was starting to become impatient, so I added in "All my dreams are lucid, and I always remember my dreams"
Last night I had a lucid dream. I suspect I've been having them for a while but not remembering them. Silly me.
So there you go. Simple. Easy. Slow, perhaps...but no meditation, no tape recorders, no looping .wav files, no trying to sleep with a humming computer
in the room...just three minutes a day and some paper.
