POLITICS: Senate Kills Attempt to Establish Independent Katrina Commission

What gets me is if the GOP and the conservatives were so upright and moral as they claim, they wouldn't be afraid of a truly bipartisian independant investigation or whatever "truth" it might uncover...after all they are already holier than thou so what have they to fear, God is on their side. Yeah Right!!!

How do you get a truly bipartisian independant investigation? Isn't that an oxymoron? In the current US government there is no such thing as bipartisian, both side have an agenda that they are going to try to shove down our throats. Ahhh! The price we pay for being a democracy.
