Missing posts

I've noticed recently that, as I'm trying to follow a thread develop, a 'New Post' will appear showing the name of the last poster.
However, when I go to read that last post, it doesn't appear...is this a glitch or is the post only visible in a 'mod only' board?

ie.
www.abovetopsecret.com...

I've noticed this in the recent 'Members Please Read' post as well. There are no error notices...just a missing last post.

This can be 2 things.

Threads bumped by a moderator.
Threads where the last poster is on ignore/global ignore.

When a mod bumps a thread, his or her name will apear as the last poster.

not a glitch, as a mod of that forum, I can bump a certain thread without posting in it to get your attention. glad to see it worked
