Alert! the document contains no data.

I seem to get ''Alert the document contains no data '' every now and again.....
Does anyone know what that is?
It appears when I go into a thread and I need to click on it so it can close.

Would it be like some sort of spy ware or something?
I mean I dont care about spyware....as long as my computer doesn't stuff up.....I do have spyware installed....spyware blaster

Helen, It sounds like you are using IE.
If that is the case you can download install a pop up blocker such as the one that is offered for free by Google or Yahoo.
Or you could use Firefox.

Since you are using firefox, chck to see if the pop up blocker has been set

Ken....I do believe it is because there are no 'pop ups' at any other times..and at the top it tells me that pop up has been blocked.

Even though I get the message'' Alert the document contains no data'' there is data on the page...

Hello Hellen,

The error is a common Firefox - Mozilla issue. But it is easy to fix.
Just open your browser. In the location bar type:

about:config

look for the line: browser.xul.error_pages.enabled

Change its value to: TRUE
