NUEVO LAREDO, Tamaulipas A drug war is ripping apart northern Mexico, but you won't find many details about who's behind it in the local newspapers. Journalists after their colleagues have been killed, kidnapped and threatened with death have stopped investigating organized crime.
There has been at least 108 execution-style murders since January.

First off i'm anti-washington times, but that story was 3 yers ago, and I had never heard it from anyone else, meaning people I know and of course CNN. So I think its bogus.

Mexico is as close to 3rd world as you can get. Mouthy to. Vincente Fox seems to think his "people" HAVE to be allowed in here. Nothing a giant electric fence couldnt handle.
Nothing to scary bout the "mexican military". Pretty much the same as our boy scouts, but with some 30 old weaponry
So why do you think Vicente Fox is under such illusions? It couldnt be the current gov, could it? How come our tough as nails government doesnt do anything to close the borders? Yet you people back him up and when you speak of terrorism you all rant about what should be done? I say the comander in chief has the responsibility to protect us and the darn borders How about HIM taking responsibility for this?

It’s the war nobody wants to talk about: well-armed Mexican soldiers storming across America’s southern border, sometimes with guns blazing.
“We are in state of war,” Edward Nelson, chairman of U.S. Border Control, told Soldier of Fortune magazine. “And we are fighting enemies who have brought the battle to our shores. If ever there was a time for the United States to put troops on the border, it is now.”
