WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A CIA report has determined with "relative certainty" that new Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was not involved in the taking of U.S. hostages in 1979, two government officials told CNN.

www.cnn.com...

Go to the link provided to view story as printed on CNN. They also have photos for comparison. What does everyone think. Is this man the same that has taken hostages. It seems to me that CIA WOULD want this man to be one in the same, even more reason down the road..albiet a short road, to go into Iran.

If the CIA is saying he is not the same man, then there should be no issue in granting him a visa to come visit the US and the UN. Looking at the pictures, the eyebrows/eye area does look different...but honestly i don't enough about the man or the story to come to a definitive conclusion on my own, guess I'll have to take the CIA's word for it. But I what I really wonder is what does the former hostages think of this now?
