and what happened? no NWO take over. no aliens came and took us over.

no martial law was declared (someone depredicted this, i bet they feel foolish now)

no terrorists (a few said this)

sometimes sh!t happens!

but if you all want to keep being paranoid fine by me. i prefer top wait and find out what REALLY happened and what caused it than jump to conclusions and assume/hope it's this or the toher thing when it could be a simple SNAFU.

The Tube is the London Underground, kinda Metro like. It runs off its own generators in sectors due to how its arranged with power being picked up off a third rail.

EDIT- Asala got there first

Damn, only half a million lightening bolts worldwide every month, and in the past 50 years, it manages to take out entire sections of large countries 2x in 2 weeks...

As I said, there are not coincidences...

The National Grid has surge protection, areas can be shut off at will, so it shouldn't spread too far. I don't think it will get any worse than what it is.

Let me guess, the lightening hit in Niagra Falls again. Damn, this CLEAR SKY weather sure seems to be creating lightening strike from nowhere that cause black outs lately.
