Boy Loses Soul and Dies.....

Topic started on 25-8-2003 @ 02:28 AM by 10DeadInside10

The adults formed a circle around the boy and placed their hands lightly over him as they prayed for him, Hemphill said.

"[They] were just praying for him and asking God to deliver him from the spirit that he had," Hemphill said. "The little boy had spirits in him, and we was asking God to deliver him."

Hemphill said the prayers were in accordance with Matthew 12:43, which says, "When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it."

At the end of the prayers, one of the women noticed that Terrance was not breathing. One of the adults called 911, but when emergency services arrived around 11 p.m., the boy was dead, Hemphill said.

Ahh...the real guts of the story...are in the first paragraph....

An 8-year-old autistic boy died during a prayer service at a Milwaukee church that the pastor said was meant to heal him of "spirits," and the pastor's brother is facing child abuse charges, police said Sunday.

Hmm...faith healing doesn't cure child abuse or autism....who'd have guessed???

Why did they not just ask the Holy Spirit within the child if he felt it was time to leave?

In their concern for freeing the boy of evil they could have possibly chased the good.

Here's a thought. What if (bodily) death was a form of healing for this child?

Praying is futile, that is exactly why i dont believe there is such athing as god, when you need him he isnt there.
Bit like the police really.

Agreed Bangin. If the child was suffering from abuse, death could have actually been more of a "saving" for him than actually "casting evil spirits" away.

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (CNN) -- An 8-year-old autistic boy who died at a prayer service where church members tried to heal him of "spirits" was suffocated, the medical examiner's office said Monday.

Terrance Cottrell went to a prayer service Friday with his mother, who prayed over him with a pastor and other church members. By the time the two-hour service was over, Terrance was dead.

New article on the boy's death. Now they think it was murder.

Are they dumb or what? It's proven that back in the days, people with mental problem were "thought" to be possessed by demons.

HELLO?! We're in the 20 th century!

There was no spirit in them, probably just some mental illness! Praying won't help 'em.
