Exactly! I don't even mind the debating of dogma in a thread where that is actually the topic, but beyond that, I don't see why it's going on. It's personal and when it comes to faith, an agenda of trying to constantly throw your own beliefs about to the point of showing how obviously there is no room in your mind for any one else's beliefs is pointless. It adds nothing to ATS and turns some people off to the point of leaving these boards.

Besides, these things could be discussed while leaving room for respect of other belief systems. A rant about other religions is appropriate in a rant thread, not all over the main boards whenever the opportunity can be slipped in.
