It's stuff like this that make me regret not joining the Army. Can you imagine getting paid for thinking up these things?

Maybe i can then make some funny poster about Bush and plant them around capitol hill? Would that be nice? Or in Texas? Sh1t like this makes me angry.. but then again if US troops in Iraq must pull stunt this low to boost their own moral in Iraq.. then i really dont have anything to be angry about as it seems that US troops are at their BREAKING POINT as they try to hit below the belt all the time..



I just wait the time wen G.I:s start commiting sucides because they cant handle the stress..

I dont think that Iraqis fear Saddam.. at least not most of them.. Only those who know that they were / are doing something illegal.. like helping Americans.. also i think that it is like the article told just a plan to boost US troops moral.. and IT WILL MAKE MANY IRAQIS VERY ANGRY..

Leave US Troops alone. Not thier damn fault they r there. They dont want to be there anymore than Iraqis want them there. Of course they are doing this for Morale. They have NONE. There have been suicides. There have been heat injuries and deaths from lack of water in US troops. They are not happy. They want to go home.Bush wont send them home. They are stuck in a country they revile just as much as it hates them.

Anything will imprss them and make them laugh. They are there because of Bush and Saddam. They cant make fun of Bush, so Saddam is only target they have. leave em alone.

Saddam was a rotten turd anyway. he is hardly worth defending. Many Iraqis did hate and fear him because he was GODLESS. Saddam was hated as much as US troops now. Hell, the rest of the Arab world hated Saddam. Only a few people, like the CIA and Regan admin liked him.

I saw the pics. If I was in a filthy #hole country with a bunch of religious loons shooting at me while my leader basically hangs me out to dry and abandons me to chaos and confusion, then yes, defacing Saddam would put a smile on my face too.

Must be those benefits for pay cuts the Pentagon was talking about. We love you America's Army!

It all seems very desperate now and with so few reporters there (and those either "embedded" or apparently on the Army's "shoot-on-sight" list: one wonders if one has heard even half of the true story of GI morale. The mood of many must be close to despair, I should have thought.

This is I suppose a minor distraction to take one's attention away from the WMD's that no one has yet found.

I think this is just some smart ass psyops geek trying to put one over on his superiors like when animators put sexual words and images in the background of Disney cartoons.

The US army morale has sunk and been sinking since the Clinton admin. I remeber us openly and shameless bitching about getting sent to third world #holes that hardly anyone either cared about, or simply didnt understand why they are there. This is even worse, because the situation for troops there is chaos. The confusion, friend, enemy, whats thier purose, plus supply problems because of civilian companies taking over former military responsibilities. Yes, morale is VERY low. I have gotten a little bit of contact with a few old buddies over there, NCO's now, saying one minute thier told one thing, next minute it changes into something completely irelevant. They cam under the impression of doing certain jobs, and many of them now just sit and dodge bullets and grenades. There are alot of non combat related deaths, accidents, overheating, dehydration, ect. Its VERY bad. Whats worse, is thier story aint getting out, we just see soundbites of happy troops cruising about. I know from experience that no matter how much they hate it there, they are ordered to keep thier mouths shut and put on appearances, just like always.

God, im glad I got out. It was stressful enough in non war haviung to watch my back from the Saudi scum.

the best way to keep the Iraqis at odds with the US is to continue to demean their inteligence and religious beliefs..one must show respect....in order to get it...
