I don't plan on uttering my last words anytime soon, but I tend to go on far too long when I speak.

I've decided that I need to choose and memorize something brief and memorable to impart when it's my time to go; either when I finally leave ATS, when I retire from my future career in politics, or when I die.

So far I've got two good candidates, but I need more. (remember not to give one-line replies or this thread will probably end up locked. Tell me about the last movie you saw or something if the post is too short.)

I'm thinking either-

Pancho Villa- "Don't let it end like this. Tell them I said something."

or my own- "Three things make the difference between being cannonized or cannonaded. The first is the letter "i". The second is the letter "z". The third is knowing when to shutup. So goodbye."

I NEED MORE! Come one, I don't want my last words to suck! You all have been letting me make a fool of myself for 20 someodd years. FINE. If you're not going to volunteer your time to follow me around ensuring that I don't say or do anything stupid, just help me look smart in my final moments by tellling me what to say when I can see the end coming.

I've had another idea of my own that I suppose I'll throw into the pool too.
"It'll be fine; I learned how to do it in bootcamp."

Incidentally, the 5 most dangerous things in the Marine Corps are as follows:

5. A private saying "I learned this in bootcamp".
4. A sergeant saying "I just got word".
3. A warrant office chuckling "watch this".
2. A lieutenant saying "according to my experience".
1. A Colonel saying "I've seen this before".

"I told you I was sick." appeals to me should the situation fit.

Even moreso if not.

Also work rather nicely when banned from Christian forums.

Wartime last words.

- "Just a few minor ajustments, and...."
- "Look what I can do on my head"
- "It's safe, see look."
- "It's not flammable, I think."
- "See, it's so much faster with power tools."
- "I didn't get sick from it the first time."
- "It can handle it."
- "It's not loaded."
- "Now here's the fun part."
- "I've done this before."
- "I'm going to light it stand clear."
- "He can't see us"
- "I can handle it."
- "Do you smell that?"
- "I'll take a look around the corner."
- "Did you hear that?"
- "I don't need a helmet."
- "I made this myself, see this is how you use it."

I agree... Or how about:::
"Look Ma, no hands..."
"I don't have to be careful, I've got a gun."

Or if you're looking for something more philosophical, take my signature: "Forsan et haec olim meminisse iuvabit--- Perhaps someday it will be pleasing to remember even these things."

Rofl- we're getting some great ones now.

"whats that smell" seems kind of disturbing lol- but more so in peace time.

The grand central station thing isn't bad. I would like to make it something even more cryptic and completely indescipherable myself. Maybe I'll just say
"Take my gold, its...".
Or something a little easier for those who know me to believe that will haunt them forever.
"I have to make a confession. Dig under the..."

If you're lucky enough to give your deathbed address to a virgin whom you want dead "Hey, dying feels just like sex!"

Or maybe I'll do what my grandfather has recently done- don't say much of anything in your last minutes, then mess with the family's mind for a couple days after you die. Some of the wierdest stuff has happened since he died. Everytime any of us play any game at all in his house it's like the deck has been stacked and the least experienced player at the table- usually my 10 year old cousin who barely understands the rules- just beats the snot out of everybody at whatever we are playing, no matter how hard the better players try.
Even at dominoes- my little cousin, who DOES NOT get the rules at all, was just throwing dominoes out at random on her turn and killing us- BADLY. She must have scored every time she played. It was some Eminem stuff- F the next lesson, I'll pass the test guessin'.

Then we went fishing and the same tiny, useless little fish that nobody in their right mind would ever want to waste a worm on kept biting my line everytime I casted, i mean within seconds of me throwing him back. That above all is something my grandpa would make happen if he could. lol
