I saw an interview with this Tim Collins on Sky news, he is a very polite, respectable and experienced solider. He required that no press be present when he gave the speech to his men, as he did not do it for the recognition, but it seems that it has caught up with him.

A true patriot.

Applause.

what is up when soldiers of his capability are being reprimanded for doing there job!!!

by the way...what an incredible speech..didnt he also get cited(spelling?) for it??

if soldiers hear this kind of speech b4 going in to battle the outcome can only be good for the natives.IMO

good post in these days of media reporting only the bad things that are happening

Yeah,

Thats some thing that has the the British Army in arms over, basically, there are usally a number of other officers from the US Army and US Marines, basically to assist each other in terms of Air Support or Naval Support etc.

Basically the whole unit of attached US Marines stood with Collins and told the Court that the comments came up due to the fact that the US officer was made to look bad.
