This is not the way the human race is heading is it ...with all the help in the world WHY ?? does this happen

1 sick person abuses 5 people.... 3 of them become deranged because of that and abuse 5 each, of them 3 becomes deranged...

This is part of the the self destruction of humans as a failed species... nukes and other weapons will help speed up the process.

Truely disheartening, but the reality is these things have ALWAYS been going on in one form or another. The only difference is now the internet has brought the news to masses so now we about it more- and many of us for the first time.

We are not "heading in this direction", we are already there and have been for a long time. The question is what are we going to do about it? Probally nothing. It's a shame that at our very core as human beings we are essentially a bunch of "rubberneckers" and "voyeurs"... watchful of the plight of others with a "better them than me" mentality.

Truely saddening. My heart goes out to these babies... poor souls...

I REALLY hope so. But remember something, life is about balance. We will never have peace, love, moral agreement without their counterparts- one defines the reason for the other (IMO). I have come to believe things do happen for a reason... perhaps there is; dare I say "a cosmic reason" these babies have been born only to suffer. I can't not pass judgement if this were to be the case, but I can have compassion and empathy and use this as a catalyst for change.

I do believe in the good of humanity... and for the first time I DO believe a small group of us CAN bring change....

When I was a kid my mommy was a drunk and my daddy beat me, and no one liked me and I had only 1 set of clothes and my dog got raped and killed infront of me by a gang of mexican midgets while they nailed my cat to a wall, and when I was 9 my teacher called me dumb and said that at recess time all the kids could kick me in the nuts.. and spit in my face... it sucked and then one time in band camp I fell in the porto-potty....

Yeh who cares.. you and a million other people..

As for “help” in stopping people from doing this, are you volunteering to go door to door each day, search people's homes and make sure they don't do bad things?

Everyday I see stories such as these and my heart literally aches for all of those that endure this pain.
dnero is correct about the EGO. I would say it's more the ID factor. I want, want, want and if it gets in my way or is in any way an inconvient then I must do away with it. So often these stories include children. How many times have we heard the Susan Smith story and those like her.
People have emotional problems we all do what separates us as qualified human beings is moral right and wrong and conscience which people like these lack.
Is it really a case of stories like these are increasing or are we just inundated with death and sickness because that is what the media feeds us?
I also agree with the balance theory that serum offered. Unfortunately, we more often than not hear about the evils in this world and less and less about the good in people.

This is not some new development in the human race. I feel we have improved as a race. I mean think of the Spartans just leaving babies out on the rocks to die, or the Romans and Colluseam!!

This is a sad reality. The trafficing of human beings, child slavery, and child pornography are all tied into this illness.

In as much as we all want to live in our glass houses, the only way we can address the issues is to shed light on them. It is that effort, that I am glad you posted this, yet sad I had to read it for once read, never forgotten......

I dont agree with the sickness propogating itself, as I was a person of child abuse to a degree, and I can assure you I would never hit or abuse my child.

I do agree with heads up citizenship, and for improvements in systems that acknowledge the existence of children in the world, and is able to identify when there are issues, including kidnapping? Chip the children?

It would sure help find em and deter the bad guys....Im at a loss on this one.. If those sickos are reading any of this, I hope they find you. Better hope I dont....

The woman is obviously mad out of her skull, maybe from inhaling all those gasoline fumes at work.

I agree the world has always been thus, we just hear of it now more often.

I read a story, oh 20 years ago, in People magazine about a little kid who was abused by his mom and her boyfriend, the story went into grim detail of what they did to this kid in his final days, cigarette burns, beating him until he was bloody, choking him until he passed out, and more.
Finally he died, they went to jail.
That story haunts me to this day, it was so vivid, and I was only eight at the time, I think I cried through the whole thing, and at the end of it I wanted vengeance....I think I still do.

Ya know.... if this story had happened in the Middle East, it would be on CNN and MSNBC constantly.... nonstop.

And btw.. Ms (Seems to constantly misunderstand people) Majic: I don't think he ment "HELP" as in.. "the law" (interesting that that is your idea of what someone means by 'getting help' for someone though - very telling) no what I think he ment was... "Why didn't this women get some help for her situation.. whatever was making her insane.. before something like this happened."

I didn't see a call for heavier laws to investigate the homes of possibly unstable people for bodies in their freezers.

Dude.. people have been doing horrible things to childeren every single day for the last 10,000 years or so.. probablly longer. What parents do to their childeren ... the harm they sometimes cause them ... this will continue to go on for another 1000 years. I don't see us 'going' anywhere in particular (over stuff like this anyways) .. but I don't see this sort of thing stopping anytime soon. It won't. A small percentage of the worlds kids will continue to be at the mercy of monsters till this planet stops spinning probablly. That is life unfortunetely.

Hey man.. think about it like this.. somewhere in the world right now there is a child starving to death. The US governement (and OTHERS TOO!) know where these kids are and could feed them within 48 hours.. ANYWHERE and ANYTIME.. but they don't. And that child will be dead by the end of the week.

And that goes on every single day on this planet.

There is NOTHING you can do about it, except accept that this world is a hell hole.. always has been, probablly always will be.
