Excellent point, Imgnyc,
By the way these are people who's personal freedoms are being infringed upon by the state, in a way our forefathers NEVER sanctioned.
What an adult uses in their own bodies is there own business. Didn't George Washington have some herbal hemp around?
Wasn't this nation's economy founded dealing in tobbacco?
Considering the imbeciles that seem to end up heading our government, they are rather less smart than the average citizen and have no business telling
other people what they can and can not do with their own private bodies and minds.
The anti-drug laws are infact a form of state sponsored religion. They didn't do clinical trials to test what affects they have and how that compares
with legal drugs. It is pure cultural bigotry masquerading as morality.
This is SUPPOSED to be a capitalist society. When did the state take over possession of [and an economic interest in] the bodies of its citizens? Your
life is your own private property in capitalism. I guess the Socialists have won.
