World War III!

Based on everything that has already started since September 11, 2001 until now in Iraq. Do you think the BEGINNING of World War III has begun? Notice I said beginning, and not World War III itself. What do you think? I think it has, but it could lead many other wars and not just a world war.

So many of the countries in the world are fighting...in my opinion this is already part of World War III. I think if we get into a war of North Korea, that's when the true part of the war will begin.

Just my thoughts.

This might sound like a stupid question but..when does something officially become a WORLD WAR? i would assume that it has to be more than one nation fighting each other which we already have...so what entitles something to be officially called a world war?

I thought if 3 countries were at war, that could be constituted as WW3.

And who declares it?

soudns logical WWIII started with 911, I mean WW1 started with the assination of 1 man, WWII started with the invasion and occupation of countries by... 1 man..
WWIII could start by the DESTRUCTION of 2 financial structures following by the invasion and Occupation of 2 countries.. hmmm

A World War occurs when the superpowers of the globe are divided into two sides and are at war with each other.

So... that would be US, Britain, Japan, China (Russia would like to be but hasn't the resources), and possibly North Korea (not a superpower but a maniac) and players such as France and Germany and Australia.

So we aren't in such a war, no.

Nostradamus predicted the start and finish of WWI, and WWII, and he predicted that WWIII would start in 2001, and that it would lead to the end of the world (he also spoke about the towers, and that the world would crumble trying to defeat the 'great power') ...

Wether or not Nostradamus was correct, I beleive that WWIII started in 2001, and I think, that the REAL World War will come, when the rest of the world says...

"America, we cant take your S*** any more..."

Or something to that effect ...

The real question should be, on whos side are you going to fight...

I do not believe we have not seen the start of WWIII yet. Until the rest of the world wakes up to the very real dangers of the times (terrorism, genocide, etc...) only a few will stand and fight.

thank you for clarifying that for me. I get how it works now. And according to the criteria you gave, i would have to agree that we are not at war yet.

and as far as nostradamous goes, i have done lots of studying on him and those same quatrains (as they are called) that were used to infer that he predicted the twin towers were told in years prior to be related to other things. If you read his quatrains they are so vague that you could relate them to practically anything. As i do recall a show last year on the history channel that talked of nostradamous had scholars on there that said he predicted the begining of WW3 to be may 5th 1999. and that he also predicted y2k as a disastor which we all know nothing happened with that. So i would have to say that nostradamous is someone widley discredited.

as for the war stuff.....If we get into North korea i see that as a huge step toward WW3 although im not aware of who North Korea has as allies..does anyone else know???

Though I would agree that NK coming into possession, and possibly using some form of Nuclear device would be a terrible act that should be returned with severe consequences... I do NOT thing that they are as bigger threat as what the US government tries to portray them as... I see Kim Jong Il as a man who thinks that the more he talks the talk, the more he'll be able to walk the walk... It's NK's last swipe at gaining some form of respect (positive or negative), and an attempt to be taken seriously...

I have a friend from South Korea and she says the people there think very little of what happens further north... She says that they have been talking threats of WMD's for years - and it has lost almost all of its shock factor down on the south side of the Korean peninsular...

I suppose its similar to how the general American populous doesn't care who their government destroys, defeats, kills, plunders and rapes any more... Because its old news... They are so de-sensitised, due to the unhealthy levels of violence they witness on TV - They dont think of it as another persons reality... We all saw the way the US responded to 9/11 (and wether that reaction was right or wrong) - The amount of chaos, death and destruction that took place that day has happend 1000-times worse, and 1000-times more in other countries - at the hand of the US government...

Its one set of rules for the big guys, and another set of rules for us little folk...

I am a firm beleiver that the United States poses a much bigger problem to world peice than a few (apparent) rouge-states such as Cuba and the rest of the trumped up 'threats' out there... All the US wants to do is open markets for their monopolies, its not about freedom, its not about democracy and its not about justice....

$$$ ...Its all about the almighty dollar... $$$

I got nothing against the US, you got some amazing technology, and sexy ladies. But WW3 = U.S.A. versus the rest of the world. If not Bush then some asshole in power will attack the wrong country at the wrong time for the wrong reasons. Iraq? nah, Afganistan?? Ya'll blew it up already, so nope. North Korea? Its just a bitch slapping competition.

I have a theory that it will probably be somewhere in Latin America - Im guessing Venezuela if anyone - Merely because a socialist revolution is taking place in 'Americas back-yard' and it is spreading reasonably slowly all over the continent... And Venezuela is at the forefront of that...

Well, I think that a nuke war couldemerge possably with the death of the one terrorist (Saqawi?) because affter Russia aupposadly lost 100 suitcase (Dirty Bomb) nukes this could very well be an undercover aggrement made by Al-qida terrorists and secretive Russia (mob) forces.

Its a consperacy.. But thats what were about.. We eventually find the truth

Allies? Allying with N.K. would mean opposing the US, and none of the Asian countries would do that, because they would have nothing to gain and much to lose from fighting the US.

supposevley really bad events will happen from the years 2005-2012 or something. Dont know much about it though so look around.

I think I know what will happen. As ghostsoilder said that some guy predicted the start and ends of WW1 and 2. The guy said WW3 starts in 2001 (with 9/11) and I think ends in 2012 as I said in my post above. The real clash of the war will start later this year possibly (the destruction of the world 2005-2012 as stated above) and it will be a great war destroying tons and tons of stuff. But, ghostsoilder said in his post it says that the world will fall to "the great power". Well the great power is actually invading aliens which will destroy both sides of the war and as in that phycic's prediction the world will crumble and be destroyed by the invaders, not from the war, although the war will cause the world to be destroyed greatly.
