What To Do While Waiting In Line For Star Wars

Okay - I know there are more Star Wars nuts than just me here on ATS....

How many of you plan on waiting in line for 8 or more hours?

I've done it for the last two....Here's a few things to bring along to make your wait a little more fun:

A Book
A Board Game....But try and be careful to not make yourself out to be too much of a dork by bringing Risk....lol
A CHAIR!!
A Deck of Cards

Most important of all....Something us Star Wars fans are known not to bring along....A sociable friend to talk to....

I think I might also bring a few of those small bottles of whiskey - It’ll take the edge off that wait

As you probably know SW teamed up with M&Ms for Sith. Well, M&Ms is owned by Masterchoice Foods whose main building is in Hackettstown, NJ. Actually you can see it from my apartment and in summer all you can smell is the chocolate. ANYWAY, Masterchoice Foods rented out the entire local cinaplex for an advanced screening of Sith for their employees.

Now the good part! My girlfriend's sister's boyfriend works for them and got us all tickets for 6:30 pm tonight. Not only do I not have to wait as long as everyone else, but I don't have to wait in line as there are something like a dozen theaters there. I'll show up 15 minutes early to see which theater has the best open seats, but that's about it.

my friend is skipping school to see it on thursday...

Well, due to scheduling issues, not going to see it till Friday night, but yes, I'll be one of those geeks in costume... As will my wife...

Can't wait to see it though....

Awesome....Yeah - I didn't go in costume, but it was fun to see everyone dressed up - We had a fan group show up that was wearing $5000 suits - They looked incredible!

I ended up buying an ipod yesterday, so I had plenty to keep me occupied in line for 8 hours

I don't think you'll be dissapointed though Gazrok......I'm still pinching myself to make sure what I saw was real

Well, this costume is really thrown together...so not so hot. Just Luke.

Yeah, they'll be pics eventually...

Halloween will be cool...going as full blown Darth Vader...

The Mystery Dinner went off pretty well, and we all had a lot of fun. I'll work on the webpage during the holiday weekend, and hope to have it up soon...with pics, etc.
