Reservists Deployed to Provide `Indirect Fire Support` Using Heavy Artillery
"The Iowa Army National Guard`s 1st Battalion, 194th Field Artillery, will be ordered to federal active duty, the Department of Defense and the
National Guard Bureau in Washington, D.C., have announced. The battalion, headquartered in Fort Dodge, will deploy to locations within the United
States for homeland security missions as part of Operation Noble Eagle II. The soldiers will provide indirect fire support, using artillery weapons
accurate from a distance of 11,000 to 12,000 meters, King said."
Heavy Artillery with a 12,000 meter range, throughout US locations, hmmmmm...? Just WHO exactly will they be shooting FOR? Our Air Defense is not
going to let enemy Fighter Jet squadrons recreate Pearl Harbor, so I guess that heavy ordinance is for ....us?
