Numbers are infinite. they go for ever. One, Two, Three, and so on. But if numbers are infinite than so are the aplphabetical combinations we would call a number by. So this pargraph is a number. Since numbers go forever and this is a combination of letters than it is a number. Right?

Discuss.

Ok...you have now confused the hell out of me!!!!

Is this what ur saying: All numbers have a alphabetical match???

If so....what is the alphabetical match for 0 as all maths need a zero to work?

We have claimed 0 to have the alphabetical match of the combination of letters z-e-r-o. Zero is the alphabetic match for 0.

Maybe I'm not quite understanding you but I think you may be confusing or mixing numbers themselves and our representation of numbers through language. Numbers and their meaning are a language all in themselves. 1 and one and not the same thing. We give numbers a name so we can talk about them. So it's not like we've given a name to every number between 0 and infinity. In fact if you think about it couldn't you teach mathematics and numbers to someone even if you didn't speak the same language fairly easy?

Did that help with your question, or am I way off base?

One represents 1. So if we were to represent ( cant say all numbers but,) a whole $hit load of numbers we would eventually have to start using other terms that don't end in "llion". For instance Cheese could represent the number

So as to say that after "Nine hundred, ninty-nine, Gazillion, Nine hundred & ninty-nine zillion...etc...etc etc..nine hundred and ninty nine" you would have "1 cheese" right?? And cheese or some other word would then also become a standard of numerical value, right??

I'm still not sure where you were headed with this idea though...But it does show some creative thinking outside the norm...

Thats basically it. 999 cheese. 20 ATS Rules also a number. I also have theory to fix this problem that I will post later if necessary for now.

Seriously...sounds like something for Nash to worry about...(eh, just saw A Beautiful Mind...mega depressing, but damn, Jennifer Connely was looking as good as always....)
