ok i need help. i play on a server and i quit playing day of defeat through steam for about 1 year. my ping used to be between 54 and 86/ fairly good.
well now when i came back its between 127 and 1392. HELP. ive tried some of the rate things. (i dont know how many of you play DoD but i was just
wondering if you guys could help??

This might sound stupid but check for spyware and nasty stuff like that.

Have you checked for game updates? I play Half Life 2 DM alot, so I can understand how that ping can poop on your game. But sometimes a game co. will
release a patch for there game and if you dont have it and everyone else does, it could affect your game play experience.
