According to our local channel 8, you will still be able to use rabbit ears. The difference is that the signal that the rabbit ears would be picking up will be digital and not analog so you will need a converter box so your old tv's will be able to understand the signal

What this means is there will no longer be analog signals. Digital signals can still be picked up by rabbit ears as long as you have a digital reciever. Alot of HDTV have them built in. You can still watch digital through a analog tv, the signal just converts to analog via the reciever. Walmart sells a cheap digital reciever made for USDTV that is offered in Utah, Arizona and some where else that I can't remember at this time. Trust me, analog TV's will be around for a long time.

If you have cable or satellite, you will be fine. But yes, no more rabbit ears
