got to tell you all because im well chuffed about this.....it wont make much sense to most but all you car fans will love it.

some people go to the pub and get drunk.......they can purchase all sorts of bizzare things...ie

a dog
a fake watch
dodgy rip off clothing
drugs

i think i went one better last night........i bought a ww2 american army truck with a 7.2 litre petrol v8 in it!!

i wanted the engine to transplant into my cobra.....can you imagine how you break the news to your pregnant girlfriend that you now own a military vehicle?.......seriously i dont think you can!......fortunatley shes took it rather well and only hit me 300 times with a rolling pin.

pictures soon....regards.

IF, I was a moderator I would move your thread to the Peak Oil forum and highlight this

........i bought a ww2 american army truck with a 7.2 litre petrol v8 in it!!

With the drubbing you would get there, 300 rolling pin hits would be a bliss

I believe that Optimus is doing his best to conserve our petroleum resources.

The mere act of moving an engine from such a large vehicle, to the
much much smaller sports car, will probably increase it's effeciency by an
appreciable amount.

I'm all for it..

It's just like the old "drink and dial".....You get drunk and whip out your wallet and the sky could fall on your head at any moment thereafter

But I don't think I'd be too ashamed of myself the morning after if I came home with 7.2L V8....hehe

Any plans for the chassis?
