America/Russia fire thousands of missles into space?

There has been recent reports of strange military behavior by American and Russian forces in the Earth’s Artic regions. Publicly unannounced, both sides have been launching thousands of missiles from both land and aircraft based that are being directed out of the earth’s atmosphere into the outer regions of our atmosphere.

Well India Daily states that there are a number of news agencies that

From various news services however there is being reported that Russia and the United States are conducting Missile Defense War games. The valid question is why was this separate military exercise not previously announced. Some UFO researchers believe that both the forces are jointly fighting something that they are not saying.

Search of the web news sites reveal that the last exercise of this nature occured about a year ago and the local news agencies were notified.
It looks like India Daily is just having a slow news time and is attempting to revive old stories.
