Because Catholics vote based also on things like the economy and national security and the border ... and because Biden may not have had affairs, but he's corrupt to the core and not any better in the morality department than trump is.

It really boils down to the lesser of two evils and understanding that humans are fallible and bound to sin.

I'd rather deal with the scandal of a mistress (which has been going on since time immorial in certain social classes but for some reason even in the 21st century it causes people to clutch their pearls in horror and revulsion) than deal with a President who actively supports and encourages parents to subject their children to bizzare hormone treatments and bodily mutilation just so the sick people who are all too happy to perform such a procedure and get kickbacks from their share in the drug market and the porn industy have a fresh supply of fetish kids at home uploading pics to the porn sites for quick cash before the lose their value to them and are pushed into suicide because they have no real world skills to work with after their youth wears out and the donations stop.

They're pushing the needs and demands of the Minority and completely ignoring the reality for the Majority.

Sorry to pontificate here, but I seriously can't believe you guys don't know about this and somehow think banging a porn star somehow affected the people of this country in any damaging way in any way shape or form.

Don't get me wrong, I was extremely critical of Trumps misgivings when he was in office but after dealing with the last four years of the Biden Adminstation, those minor indiscretions Trump pulled were child's play in comparison.

I know it's probably not going to matter who's in office anyway, and I throughly accept the fact that they're just a figurehead with a lot less power than we give them credit for whe it comes to the ins and outs of government, and there's a very high likelihood he won't be able to solve any of the issues that he touts and promises to pass through if he wins the election because of Governmental Power Plays and The Truth Behind the Throne, and that's fine.

Maybe gas prices will go down, maybe inflation will calm it's tits, maybe he'll be able to pass a resolution to build affordable housing for average Americans who are being priced out of their apartments to make room for the "New Citizens"...maybe we'll see Congress get their proverbial feces together and start taking care of the people who spents their lives busting their asses at jobs just trying to live out their retirement in peace instead of capitulating to forgein investors and this recent trend of greedy venture capiltalists hell bent and determined to starve out average Americans in favor of replacing them with a young generation of kids with more money than sense who need shelter so they can perform their youtube and tiktok videos and create content for their freakin' OnlyFans.

Maybe you're unaware of this going on out there, but it recently hit my region and the locals are working overtime to care for those who have been displaced because it's patently obvious those in the Halls of Power are more interested in their fashion agendas and trends and rampant consumer culture and going overboard to cater to a generation that thrives on exhibitionism and DARES to call US "entitled".

Sorry for the rant, but I'm very very mad right now.

I could go on all day with my grievences, but I think I've said enough for the time being.

Catholics acknowledge our weaknesses and imperfections and are keen on confession, forgiveness and redemption. Jesus died for our sins, God made us imperfect and our sins are inevitable. Accepting Jesus is the key to Catholicism, salvation. None of us is perfect and we all need forgiveness. Trump, maybe he is redeeming himself. I know we could really use someone headstrong enough to shut our borders, repel invaders, build a strong military and spread peace....peace through strength and much more.
Also, Catholics are taught to respect others religious beliefs so to each his own.

Flip flopping is going back and forth, evolving through life experiences and seeing an issue differently is not flip flopping. Just wanted to point that out. Many people, on many different topics and subject matter, many people grow, develop and ultimately see things a little different through time. Nothing new or wrong with that.

That should step aside and make way for younger people.
