Credit to her for revealing it but pre-submitting questions for evaluation/scripting answers breaks every rule in journalism and is hugely frowned on by any respectable media outlet or journalist (i never did it in PR worklet alone journalism work).

Practicing it in a minor vox pop/street interview would get you blacklisted from most European media for being a Dark Arts/Propaganda/PR stooge, let alone an interview with a Head of State.

The US desperately needs proper independent self regulation like other countries; this type of interview/demand from Biden is a breach of FCC law but good luck getting the State to find itself guilty of State Propaganda. All US media has been copy pastes of either Republican or Democrat press releases for the last 20 years.

The legendary carcrash Newsnight interview with the Paedo Prince is a perfect example of why journalists/broadcasters refuse to allow the practice and why basic standards are essential in journalism and essential it is for democracy to function.

Have you ? I was interviewed once by a local news station about a local powerhouse being built & they rehearsed how they would ask questions as well asked that I don’t get off topic of what they would ask .
