Hamas supporters in the UK are increasing their confrontation with law makers over their handling of the Israel-Gaza war. Lawmakers now fear they will be the victims of violence and are changing their behaviors in order to stay safe.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has called for the banning of protests outside MP's homes and other government facilities.

It seems as if Hamas supporters are moving towards extremism. Do their terrorists actions bolster or detract from their message that Israel is engaged in genocide?

British lawmakers fear for their safety after threats and abuse over Gaza

LONDON, Feb 28 (Reuters) - It was 10 minutes of shouted accusations of being a "genocide enabler" and having "blood on your hands" that made a British lawmaker fear for his safety over his decision to voice support for Israel in its war with Hamas.

Almost touching noses with his accuser before walking away and warning he would call the police, the opposition Labour Party member said the incident in a town in his constituency was just the latest of several that made him change his behaviour.

He now makes sure he sits near the door on public transport and limits meetings with the public.

"It feels like it could just need one spark to flip from someone giving you tuppence (criticism) in the street to escalating to actual violence," the lawmaker said.

After the Oct. 7 Hamas attack that sparked the war in Gaza, more than 10 British politicians spoken to by Reuters said the abuse directed at them had become more intense. At least one cited this as a factor in deciding not to seek a new term in parliament

Sunak demands ban on protests at MPs’ homes and crackdown on ‘mob rule’

Rishi Sunak is seeking to halt demonstrations outside MPs’ homes after telling senior police officers that the UK is descending into “mob rule”.

In comments that have concerned civil liberties groups, the prime minister also demanded a crackdown on protests outside parliament, political parties’ offices and town halls that may prevent use of a venue or “cause alarm harassment or distress”.

Erm...

So you are saying that terrorist supporters can also be terrorists?

And that politicians who enabled all that now feel threatened?

~shocked look~

So, Sunak has also announced a £31 million package for increased security for MP's.
Pondering.... So the MPs are getting extra protection. Does that mean that terrorists and protesters are winning?

PS...... oh and another £72 million to the Jewish community to "protect them from harm"

Sounds like it's time for batons to the backs of skulls for the terrorists.
Why do people put up with this #?
Put them down they are rabid animals.

Please come into our country to escape "oppression" so you can abuse and press us with no repercussions.
Please beat and rob and rape and stay.

Smart...

seems like its an excuse to ban any form of legal protest , just because the corrupt #s are afraid of a backlash for their actions in parliament , oh and also steal some more of the UK taxpayers wealth at the same time.
This will also help when the public go #in crazy when they start exploiting us more and when we have had enough of their bull#

you cant protest and you cant stop them you know cus "terrorism"

well you reap what you sow as the saying goes

sounds to me like its just another way for the rich corrupt bastards to protect themselves from the consequences of their actions, terrorist or no , the people should be allowed to protest otherwise we are just bowing down to the fear of terror

this just reminds me of post 9/11 when they rushed in all the anti terror laws in the US and UK because they were afraid of terrorism and we were all to be afraid as well.

but its totally cool the majority of the world just follow along with their governments lies anyway.
Corrupt bastards the lot of them and deluded fools who listen to their every word and vote for more of their corruption and lies

The right for peaceful protest isn't going to get banned anytime soon.
This is about the idiots trying to glue themselves to the roads and climb on War Memorials, and telling the halfsoaked police they can arrest people for attacking property as it's their job to do that.

There's already laws regarding intimidation via protests, that's the one's outside MPs houses covered. There's laws for public disorder and "disruption to the life of the community" so it's mostly a case of the police not doing their jobs.

I could see this government not letting a good crisis go to waste whilst they push new laws through. There'll probably be talk of EU courts and our inability to cast aside their silly little rules whilst we begrudgingly moan about upholding human rights.

Fund the police... It's obvious isn't it?

Pretty quick to look after themselves, yet if you get burgled you have sod all chance of the Police doing anything about it.

Ummm...why don't they funnel that money into those communities that are protesting...perhaps that might go a long way into easing this self inflicted problem...

I'm sure 103 million might help...

Protected by the likes of Wayne Couzens? A Firearms Officer and part of the Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection squad, despite having been a known sex offender for some 20 odd years.

A serial rapist and now a convicted rapist and murderer?

No surprise that they step up their game and go extreme like their Hamas buddies.

When oh when are the politicians gonna wake up and do something about the whole situation in our (well ours for the moment) country. It aint about Palestine or Israel per se, it's about a certain section in our society feeling their feet, seeing how far they can push authority. They get away with this, they get away with that, plus you can't do anything to us because it would be phobic. Add the first bit because if you're in the UK you know what to put.

I voiced the other day, it's about time we, the British/English people had our own designation so we can shout "you're Britophobic" "anglophobic", something to shout them down every time they attack us. Where are the police enforcing the "incitement to violence" act because every time I see them waving the Palestinian flag and singing from the river to the sea, it makes me want to be violent toward them. But then again I'm British so I don't count, except if I put a tweet out saying something trite then they'll be knocking on my door to arrest me.

Even the Jewish community itself worldwide positions itself against Zionism, this is just one example of many that can be found. The Jewish religion is one thing and Zionism is quite another.

Because they position themselves against the illegal colonialist occupation of Israel and this ethnic cleansing; Jews of the world, Jewish rabbis, Jewish historians, Jewish scientists, former members of the IDF, and a long etc.

Any global group of Palestinians against Palestinians?

They had better spend that money on the people of the UK, or on solving a conflict that they started. How hypocritical politics is.
