I love watching this guy with his videos posting and commenting what is happening in Europe as pretty much not much is escaping onto our news media..but how about those French & German farmers...protesting like a huge revolution against the government like we haven't seen before???

Like the Freedom Convoy in Canada, to truckers convoy to the border, to farmers all across Europe...we all stand united against unjust governments. And this is just the beginning of things, never mind the wars happening in Israel, Ukraine and ME.

This is really about a global meltdown...buckle down the hatches things are about to explode.

Yes, only that they are all idiots who start the fires.

Here in the country, many farmers are in the fire department because we don't have a professional fire department. Any farmer with a bit of brains won't start a fire because then his own beeper will go off and the neighbor's son or his own will come out to put the # out.

These are paid slobs or simply stupid people who have nothing to do with our cause.

Technically we have seen 3 major revolutions in France which occurred in 1789, 1830, and 1848, just saying.

Things are always about to "explode" and a global meltdown just right around the corner, yet here we are and the sky has yet to fall.

Haven’t heard about this on UK news either, though I was following the Dutch farmer protests a while back. I don’t know if these protests are about the same thing, but it’s not a good idea to piss off the farmers and the EU is doing this deliberately. Think food prices are bad now? Just wait and see how bad it gets if/when so many farmers are forced out of the profession, so they can re-wild the land or some such stupid thing.

This is how they will get us all eating ze bugs.

Some sectors, at least, of the "ordinary" European population have woken up and realized how detached from reality many governmental policies are.

Be interesting to see how the mid-year EU parliament elections go.

Cheers

Regarding media coverage.

In the old days, serious news operations had people 'on the ground' all over the world who reported on international events.

That's all gone now. Today, media in country A depends on media in country B to feed them content re: country B. The media firms ally themselves with media firms in other countries that have the same ideological bent. Thus, with media in countries like the UK and USA leaning left (putting it mildly), they seek and print only content that suits the narrative they push at the public.

I've read blatantly one-sided "reporting" in American media regarding events in Europe. None of what the media does anymore is about keeping the public informed; rather, it is about keeping them propagandized.

Cheers

These are mostly about the reduction/end of agriculture diesel subsidies, which will end up making farmers pay more for the fuel they use.

See this for more information.

Speak for yourself in your neck of the woods but I think you aren't completely right.

These are the people who FEED the people who are absolutely fed up (pun intended) with being squeezed for profit and controlled by crettins on leads.

As a French resident of over 20 years I have experienced this type of stuff for ages, and it isn't "many farmers" who are in the fire service because they are way too busy to drop everything and come running. It's mainly new recruits who volanteer now and a few steadfast members of a community who have been doing the job for years.

And to say they are not "professional" is insulting to them. They are still trained to the same high standards and have great equipment supplied, better than most countries perhaps. The only thing they don't all get is wages.

And starting fires on roads to block them is hardly going to get beepers going off to a location they know is unreachable. Anyway, any fire that got out of control could be dowsed out with all the "slurry" flying around.

C'mon...whose side are you on, do you work for one of the banks that got splattered?

I remind you of your own words from HERE

Final statement: Anyone who argues that they should be quiet in times of tyranny and would rather do nothing because they fear the consequences is a coward.

I AM FARMER & FIREFIGHTER.

And I was protesting myself, with my tractor.

What I said is don't set fires. I didn't mention anything about professionalism. I said that those who set fires are idiots. Because they infiltrate our protest. My goodness.

That is all.

I should have rephrased that to
"like a huge revolution against the government like J have not seen before in my lifetime"

History repeats itself. So it's a question of when!?

There is so much tension in the world...agreed.

We do have a penchant for repeating the past historical transgressions of generations gone by, there is no real doubt about that fact.

But the real question is why we do so by my guess.

Our limited longevity and the fact that we refuse to learn from one generation to the next probably has something to do with it.

Aye, we sure as sh@t ain't short of the tension, cupboards full of the stuff, and the truth is we could spread it on toast.

Now I have more time for this kind of nonsense:

I understand that you're upset in your computer chair, it's very noticeable.

But let the big ones do it, who have an idea, know what it's about and are currently being infiltrated primarily by National Socialist crackpots and arsonists. There are definitely some who are paid to cause trouble.

What you don't understand, because you would if you had any idea about field work, is that in Germany the volunteer fire department consists largely of farmers. This is self-help because no one else comes and the shed burned away. So when idiots start fires, we're the ones who get pulled out of the protest because our beepers go off. WE then drive away to come back with the fire engine. Do you understand that? That is understandable?

Upset
not. Please don't project personal ignorance in my direction. I spent most of today digging dirt to grow FOOD.

Like those who sit in computer chairs as opposed to someone who lives and works in a VERY rural area surrounded by farmland, agriculture, viniculture and small communes of land workers?

Which ISN'T France, is it?
Or do you stereotype countries because they have borders that connect?

If you were in the fire service you would already have made a big issue of it earlier. Don't confuse that noise in your mind with a REAL "beeper" in a pocket maybe.

WATCH the many reports and clips available from multiple sources currently available and realise how rediculous you sound referencing things you obviously are detatched from.

Santé!

Which will end with you and everyone else paying MORE for their food. Not just that but they are trying as hard as they can to make farming simply unviable. People will understand when it’s too late.

When the costs of farming far outweigh the return and people can no longer afford to feed their families, megacorp steps in, buys the land on the cheap and with use of chemicals, quickly overproduce cheap food and the grateful peons will be filled with gratitude.
