After several years of war in Iraq the Pentagon is planning on removing troops next year. After holding troops months longer then they signed up, the
Pentagon will call back troops. The successful training of Iraqi Troops and lack of resistance is the cause of the planned removal of troops
according to the Pentagon. The removal of troops starting next year is estimated to take at least another 2 years afterwards.

WASHINGTON, April 11 (Xinhuanet) -- The US-led military campaign in Iraq is making enough progress in fighting insurgents and training Iraqi security
forces to allow the Pentagon to plan for significant troops reductions by early next year, senior US commanders and Pentagon officials said.
Although senior US officers are wary of declaring success too soon against the insurgency, there is a consensus emerging among them about several
positive developing trends, although each carries a cautionary note, the New York Times reported on Monday.

With thousands of troops kept in service by back door draft tactics, this is a sign of good things coming. Will be nice to see troops coming home,
even if it is still a year off. We brought democracy to the Iraqi People, and now we are going to let them live in peace ready to protect themselves.
Strange, our little war to get WMDs in Iraq has taken this long. It was suppose to be a get in, get out thing. But wait, no WMDs, nothing like that,
turns out Saddam was doing as told. But will be nice to see the troops coming home, until we invade Iran.
We may be sending a few troops home next year but were currently building 14 permanent military bases for american use so as to provide a base of
operations in the middle-eats for years to come. http: www.corpwatch.org
