Mysterious naked 'wolf man' spotted in Germany's Harz mountains: Hikers take photo of man 'naked and holding a wooden spear near a ruined castle'

The man, who is believed to have lived in the forest for five years, was captured on camera by two hikers, who reportedly saw him sitting naked and holding a wooden spear at the foot of a ruined castle.

The blurry photos show the man looking extremely hairy or covered in dirt, as he sits on the ground and appears to play with the sand.

Gina Weiss, 31, and her friend Tobi, 38, were walking in Blankenburg in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, as dusk fell on Tuesday evening.

Ms Weiss told German newspaper Bild: 'When we reached the sand caves, we saw the wolf man. He stood up high on one of the caves and held a long wooden stick like a lance in his arm.

'He wouldn’t take his eyes of us, said nothing. He looked dirty like a Stone Age man from a history book.'

What do people here think about this? Pretty strange that’s for sure. I know for a fact it wasn’t me this time.

The article then states that area is rich with myths and legends, the like of which has inspired many stories like the those of the brothers grimm. I myself have used the mythology of these wooded areas around Mt. Brocken as a backdrop for one of my books.

TBH the image looks like a dirty guy living in the woods, and he doesnt have a tail, Wolf man/men have a tail and a longer snout and ears, and fur.

That picture could have been taken in any number of slum areas in the USA, thanks to illegal drug manufactures adding Xylazine, the 'Zombie drug' to the mix.

I think it is a homeless man living in the forest.

Of course it's not a "Wolfman".

The local firefighters in that regions are pissed because of all the fires they have to put out. He flees when they arrive. They think it's a crazy man with a fur hat. They must have seen him with a fur hat to make that comment, because I can't see any hint about it in the photo.

^^ that. Most likely has some mental health issues as well.

Sorry I wasn’t able to post the picture or else I would have done so rather than linking to the Daily Mail but wanted to share anyways and see what people thought. I don’t know what to think to be honest but I don’t think it’s a wolf man. It’s kinda weird he’s holding a spear, Looks more like Neanderthal to me. Could also be hoax who knows.
