The balloon is nowhere near Montana anymore. And the second one was reported over Canada, although it hasn't been confirmed. There is a second one confirmed over South America however.

Could it have been the balloon that was spotted in Canada?

It floated down the Jetstream?

How many more are there?

It's not China, it's ALIENS!

(Or the start of a false flag anyway).

They will appear over every country this weekend perhaps.

Sorry, spontaneous thought about your question. I'll go now...

Notwithstanding the logistics of where they are precisely, my gut feeling is a fried Chinese spy balloon.

Montana is home to several MOAs around Billings. It's easily possible someone accidentally went supersonic.

It's not the balloon China claimed it is. It's got some kind of radar and emitters on board. That's a Combat Sent which is designed to identify and track radar and other radar related emissions. It most likely has a SAR mounted looking at military installations as it goes overhead.

There hasn't been any confirmation of a second over North America. There is a second one over South America however.

Interesting.

An accidental launch?

No, sometimes when they're maneuvering during a dogfight, sometimes they push a little too far and accidentally break the sound barrier. Last year at the airshow in Seattle, one of the Blue Angels doing a sneak pass pushed a little too far, and went supersonic. It happens occasionally.

My first year in Seattle they went supersonic right over the apartment I was staying in and the sonic boom woke me up. Hell of a way to start the morning. Thanks for the wake up call guys, very funny.

Shocking that we're allowing it to continue in the air.

I've been following this for the last 24 hours and I still think there's three balloons. The Pentagon briefing earlier today even mentioned the one over Canada but the jerk face responded to questions by saying "ask Canada."
