Hey....he's right. That gun DOES look like a toy. That's F'in weird...

That is an M-4 carbine. Trust me it is not a toy. It is the same as a normal M-16 exept for the stock is retractable or colapsing.

Oops almost forgot, the caliber is slightly different. 5,56 by .45mm nato standard. they have been in production since 84.

It is bigger than a UZI or a Mack 10. Probably a .223 caliber.

I know weapons like most guys know the back of their hands...

I thonk it was orginally created for guys jumping from planes.
