How could Simon Cowell miss an opportunity like this?

Just imagine how many people would take an interest in the Catholic church by televising the selection process.

First of all, they are usually in deep prayer which can be difficult in front of cameras and people watching. Second, they talk about the "state of the Church" and what needs to happen. Third, it just is not allowed, it is a sanctified ritual like how the Courts used to not be allowed to be taped and broadcasted. Now you have to remember that religion, organized religion is meant to be a foundation block, and as we know foundations are not "meant" to change to greatly otherwise they lose their solidity.

So my opinion is that by their ancient law it would be a sin, two it would influence their decision. Or for all you New World Order conspiracy theorists, possibly because the Illuminati or some such group tells them what to do next in their big ultimate plan of world take over. And for the Icke fans, it is for them to change into their reptilian shapes and talk to the rest of their overlords...and for you sickoo's it is a giant homosexual orgy that they are doing...he who can last the longest is pope.

Sorry could not help it...

The selection process is a secret process where all the cardinals are locked in a room and they vote on which one of them should be pope. Televising it would be blasphomy.
