Anything to add on topic to this thread?

I had never heard of the Hillary / Haiti / gold story.

I kind of look forward to Judgment Day and watching the Clinton's trial / hearing
who knows what stuff they were involved in

So Russia is one of the worlds major gold producers. It’s one of the few exports other than grain, fertilizer, and oil.

I could imagine if you were the Sudanese, and looking to develop your Goldfield, that you might turn to Russia to get rock-bottom prices on prospecting equipment. I don’t know that that means the Russians are stealing the gold.

It’s just like, if you were the nation of Haiti and he just survived a major earthquake and the assassination of your leader, you would naturally turn to Hillary Rodham Clinton to help exploit your newly discovered gold reserves…

Clinton run for presidency Tangled in Haiti gold permit affair

Also, being a heavy exporter of gold (like Russia) means lots of connections with import/export, metallurgy/mining firms, and most importantly, precious metal distributors.

Russia could be "plundering" Sudan's gold, but as you point out, that makes very little sense (given Russia's vast precious metal, and did know? diamond resources). Sounds like more "Russia. RUSSIA. RUSSIA!" propaganda from MSM. And FWIW we in the U.S. have little license to ding others for exploiting resources in the 3rd world.

The big international player is the AngloGold/AshantiGold

South African (white) conglomerate mixed with DeBeers money/power.

DeBeers Used to be the diamond monopoly. So Russia, as a major diamond rival, would definitely seen as a rival in the Great Game (TM) Africa version.

The whole “conflict diamonds” campaign was a DeBeers marketing tool to get westerners to buy only “conflict free” stones. The only source of them was the DeBeers group
