A man armed with a handgun, knife, and pepper spray was arrested early Wednesday morning near the Maryland home of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, law-enforcement authorities said.

The man told police he was there to kill Kavanaugh, who lives in Chevy Chase, a suburb just outside of Washington, D.C. according to authorities.

On Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security issued a bulletin warning of the continued heightened threat environment across the United States,” which said that in coming months DHS “expects the threat environment to become more dynamic as several high-profile events could be exploited to justify acts of violence against a range of possible targets.”

Montgomery County Police Department did not immediately respond to CNBC’s request for comment. A spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Service said the agency was looking into the arrest.

Security has been tightened at all nine of the justices’ homes since last month, after the unprecedented leak of the draft.

Expect more of these hits against conservatives. liberals know we are watching the polls now and looking for anything that even remotely resembles voter fraud. They also know that in an honest election they will get their collective ass handed to them. So they are going after the justices first. With the supreme court stacked in their favor the rest is meaningless since any objection to their tyrannical endeavors will end up in a scotus review. If they succeed in eliminating a couple conservative judges this country is pretty much done for.

From the news article provided by the link in the OP, it appears this guy turned himself in. He got out of a cab about a block away from the home and called 911 reporting that he had ''homicidal thoughts''. He told them he had a gun, which it was found was unloaded and kept in a locked box in his suitcase.

Authorities said that Roske has apprehended a block away from the residence by members of the U.S. Marshals Service and the Montgomery County Police Department after he made a 911 call in which he said had homicidal thoughts, and he traveled to attack Kavanaugh, officials said.

Roske, who lives in Simi Valley, told the 911 operator that he had an unloaded gun, in a locked case, in his suitcase, officials said.

So we can call him a nut case as some will be doing. We can call him a leftist extremist and a homicidal maniac progressive but from what I read in from that link, he appears to be ''rather loose'' in his thought processes. I would guess moved, by the propagandist tactics in this push and shove squabble over abortion, to take matters into his own hands. Yet he did not, apparently. Either his better mind or maybe just his fear for himself in the end brought this fellow back to reality and he turned himself in with that 911 call.

So in the end, do we even have any criminal charges to levy here? He had an unloaded gun, no crime. He traveled to within a block of a Scotus, no crime either. He made no threats, no crime. From what I just read, he broke no law. He pulled back from a radical action and called for help.

And of course all that could be balderdash as who knows that what is being reported from police statements is true or not true.

The dems told their constituents to do this.
Why is ANYONE surprised when their constituents do as told?
