Oh. Like Japan was "peaceful" in WW2?

You sure about that?

I am sure of only one thing - America dropped two nuclear bombs on two Japanese peaceful cities.

Unless you personally went out and counted the bodies you have no idea how many russian soldiers have died.

No one does.

We are all just choosing what narrative to believe about it.

Putin signs law scrapping military age limit in Russia, allowing over-40s to join and fight in Ukraine

www.businessinsider.com...

Countries winning wars with little losses don’t do this crap with age limits. Seems Putin is low on cannon fodder.

It is Strange but True that by nuking Japan twice over the USA prevented the Russians from taking the initiative and invading Japan and possibly creating another North Korea style state.

Russia was about to invade Japan prior to the nukes, indeed to this day Russia still occupies the northern Japanese islands

Yes, such a law has been signed, they can conclude a contract. The army, like any employer, needs specialists in various fields - from IT to logisticians and builders. It takes a long time to prepare a good specialist in any high-tech field.
I am touched. Probably only 18-year-old boys serve in the US and British armies. Don't you feel sorry for using little boys as "cannon fodder"?

You probably know this information because you overheard in Stalin's office.

Britain and the US generally exist on foreign lands that they took away from the indigenous peoples.

Excuses, excuses...

There is only one fact - America dropped nuclear bombs on 2 peaceful Japanese cities, as a result of which hundreds of thousands of peaceful (non-military) people died.

I think that's a question you should ask your leader.

That’s is correct. But age limits are not usually extended unless there are recruiting issues, or issues with manning like just suffering heavy losses.

The question is if the military manning was healthy before the Ukrainian war, especially if Russia uses conscripts that should desire to stay in and seek more special military jobs, why the change in age limits now…..

Conscription in Russia (Russian: всеобщая воинская обязанность, romanized: vseobshchaya voinskaya obyazannost, translated as "universal military obligation" or "liability for military service") is a 12-month draft, which is mandatory for all male citizens ages 18–27, with a number of exceptions. The mandatory term of service was reduced from two years to one year in 2007 and 2008.[1][2] Avoiding the draft is a felony under Russian criminal code and is punishable by up to 2 years of imprisonment.[3] Conscripts are generally prohibited from being deployed abroad.[4]

At least the USA is all voluntary at this time.

So did the law, or did the military cut funds to give bonuses when signing up to encourage recurring in these fields listed by you?

With sign up bonuses as evidence of what fields the military desires, what fiends is the military giving bonuses to promote your listed fields? What military jobs are getting signup bonuses?

I understand that you did not read the text of the law.
Only service in the army under the contract is envisaged.

Website of the State Duma of Russia.

“Deputies of the State Duma adopted in the first reading and in general amendments to the Federal Law “On Military Duty and Military Service”, which propose to exclude the upper age limit for those wishing to conclude the first contract for military service”

So.

You some how know the lose rate of Russian soldiers that the Kremlin is tight lipped about. But can’t prove the law is to promote “from IT to logisticians and builders” recruitment with any targeted bonuses for an army the uses mandatory conscription?

Ended WW2 by killing and nuking civilians who were no part of the war.

massive casualties that would have occured if mainland Japan had to be taken

Japan only surrendered because they didn't want innocent civilians to die any further never mind the forever military occupation of Japan by US.
