Why ATS Twitter is dead? @AboveTopSecret

When my favorite forum when down, my first thought was to check on Twitter.
The account has more than 90K followers and it's just the perfect way to inform the users what is going on.

I guess there's a FB group too, but I finished with that BS long ago so I have no idea if there was any info posted there.

My question is, why don't you guys use the Twitter account in those types of cases? The last tweet is from almost a year ago.

Anyways... I'm glad you got the site back to normal. Can't find what was the reason but the more important is that it's back up.

Some of the accounts were set up by ATS members back during the Days of Question and the previous Great Outage .
As members became more confident , the outlier sites began fading into ghost towns .

Yeah, I messaged both the ATS Twitter and FB accounts. Neither looks to have been active for at least a year. Would have been a good way for them to communicate the outage was only temporary etc etc. Still wondering why there was no attempt to communicate during all this.

I tweeted w/ the hashtag #abovetopsecret asking where it went.....
I was not alone.

That was the first place I checked too. Meh, dead silent.

There is also a private ATS account on Gab.com but don't know if it's current or past ATS owner, or just a nobody. Up until yesterday I was unaware of the Discord channel.

For whatever reason(s) the owners wish to remain anonymous. Can't say I blame them in this climate, but a one-liner tweet would have been very much appreciated. I could of spent 4 days cleaning my garage vice a bouncin homeless lost soul all over the Net. Oh well, live & learn I guess, but damn!

There was a payment issue with the Host Server .

As with most things the problems can be traced back to money.

I'm sure my credit cards all have an expiry date which is ALSO entered into the database and flagged when it is approaching, to let me know the bill is coming due but the card on file is expired or some other issue.

Weird.

I found ATS Reddit to have the most information during the outage, which-as we all know- was nothing. At least there were people sharing ideas.

Maybe they accidentally put there wallet into the washer/dryer, then had to order a new credit card (with new details) on account of it being melted, then forgot to update there details to the provider.

I know I’ve done that more times than I’d like to admit.

why are the New Masters keeping so quiet over the dead time?
