I'm just across the lake from you. It has been pretty rampant here. Covid finally hit the family directly within the last few weeks. Family and extended family are vaxxed.

My daughter and boyfriend were exposed by his mom who's not vaxxed for medical reasons. She went in to the hospital for a procedure and tested positive. They had visited her the day before. She developed symptoms the next day along with her husband who is against vaccinations. My daughter and her boyfriend both tested positive but have no symptoms. Their vaxxed daughter is the same, positive but no symptoms. His mom did develop symptoms but is feeling better after about 7 days. His dad just went into the hospital last night with oxygen levels at 65. He's 49 with no underlying conditions, his dad's 40 year old cousin had passed away 2 weeks ago from Covid pneumonia. He was unvaccinated as well. We're just hoping for a good outcome for him. They had a rough year with the moms health problems, this is the last thing they need.

These are the only numbers that really matter for most people, hospitalization and ICU. You can see why people are rushing to get their vaccines and boosters.

They don't seem to be doing anything to stop it but they sure do seem to be helping them to pick it up. Is it because the immune system is going down in the vaxed at the suggested rate of 5% a week? if so when a decent flue comes along we will start to see some fireworks. That's why they wanted everyone vaxed betcha. Then nobody could say there was a difference between the vaxed and unvaxed.

It would be nice if these things would be admitted and acknowledged in all nations, and not continually LIED about.

I have to put up with some persecution at work for not being jabbed, and those fools will not even consider listening to anyone who doesn't just tow their line of misinformation, half truths, and full out lies that they believe.

All children in school in Ontario were sent home with a package of rapid tests. We've been running tests on a variety of objects,lemons, water, etc, numerous test results on the same objects give a positive, then a negative, then a positive, then a negative.

The kids were tested several times with the same results, positive, then negative,then positive.

The tests are useless, anyone arguing otherwise is a retard.

Do the tests yourself and you can see for yourself.

When more people are vaccinated as in patients than the unvaccinated ought to give anybody a moment's pause, even in the ICU it's closer than they usually advertise.

Anecdotally a co-worker twice vaccinated is now on their second case of COVID, they report this second case is much worse for them than the first.

The vax doesn't work. How many bodies have you stepped over in the last 21 months? And you won't be stepping over any in the next 21 months. The vaccine and the multiple boosters to come are the goal and the threat of COVID is the mechanism. You will keep wearing your mask (and if you are like many, you'll dispose of it by dropping it on the ground....as heroes seem to do), you will stand in line and you will proceed only when you are told to proceed.

There will be more variants. Bigger, badder and even more destructive......just like each and every Sharknado sequel.

What ive been finding so hard to comprehend is why GP's and doctors aren't telling everyone to exercise and keep up a healthy diet, its like all they can talk about now is taking the shot and somehow all your problems will go away. If anything people should be looking at their life style and diets, its very sensible to say that your going to have much more of a fighting chance if you get any of the Covid variants and your in good shape and been eating well. I cant make head nor tale of that, what happend to common sense health advice from practitioners. Here in NZ we were rated to have one of the highest levels of obesity world wide, its as if all of a sudden that's somehow disappeared cause it never gets talked about anymore.

The vax reduces your immune system by 50% so obviously those who got the vax would be more prone to be sick and catch the variants. Us pureblood still have 100% of our white blood cell count and have a better chance of fighting off new diseases.

So out of the vaxxed and unvaxxed how many vaxxed people died compared to unvaxxed? The vaccines dont stop people from contracting the virus and vaxxed people are constantly spreading it so it makes sense a lot of vaxxed people get the virus. However the death rates amongst vaxxed is much lower than unvaxxed people (many times over).

Yeah it seems conveniantly left out. The vaccine was never intended to stop the spread. At all. What it does is lessen the lung symptoms, which seems to be the effect in most vaxxed cases. Most is better than none imo.

I got covid a few times last year, i was fine. I work in healthcare so i had to get vaxxed. Probably wouldnt have gotten vaxxed if not required, but i like having an income.

yes "the shot was meant to prevent us from passing on the disease" always was a big lie. since "the shot" was never even supposed to do so. in fact it was only some countries such as the US and Canada who started and spread that lie, especially politicians like Biden and Trudeau. it was a lie based on politics, and those wanting to open everything up and give in to people such as the antimaskers.

in other countries they did not tell that lie. even at the very beginning saying that even the vaccinated must still wear masks because the vaccinations WOULD NOT STOP a vaccinated person from either getting, or passing on the virus, and that all vaccinations were for was to reduce the risk of the serious health effects caused by the virus. i was even bombarded on facebook with official posts by the WHO stating this to be the case, as soon as the vaccines started to become available. and thus kept rational and proper mandates in place such as EVERYONE having to wear a mask when outside their private properties. as well as things like mandatory temperature checks to enter any public area such as a store, mall, or church. as well as keeping reduced capacities, to keep it from spreading as bad. and it shows in the numbers quite clearly which path between the two stances was the right one.

in fact what stands out to me in even just the headline for this thread is the sheer number of new cases in Ontario. seriously almost TEN THOUSAND new cases in one day"?, that is just insane. and that is BEFORE the effects from the Christmas holiday get togethers. it certainly shows that through not having proper policies in place, Ontario is putting everyone at severe risk.

meanwhile AN ENTIRE COUNTRY, one that is far smaller in land then Ontario (could in fact fit IN a couple of the great lakes), with over TEN TIMES the population of Ontario, making it much more population dense (which makes a spreadable sickness worse), especially a much more population dense city. has almost 100 times LESS new cases a day (in the 300's for the entire country compared to almost 10,000 in Ontario as reported here). all because they never spread the lie about the vaccines stopping the spread. and so did not remove those sensible precautions such as EVERYONE wearing a mask outside their private properties (and in fact have recommended wearing them even in their homes especially those in small homes (which for many people a "family home", is about the size of a small bedroom in a North American home). as well as temperature checks to go into public buildings such as stores, businesses and malls, as well as to get on mass transit. reduced capacity in public areas. etc. and the difference in numbers of new cases that are the result of those simple, common sense, at most a nuisance, and apparently effective, measures in place, compared to countries like Canada that have only ever taken half assed, and not even properly enforced measures, is clear.

Searching for info on hospitalizations it seems Ontario was having issues with crowded hospitals way back in
JANUARY 2020 you know before COVID even hit.

it goes a LOT further back then 2020. those overcrowded hospitals issues have been going on for DECADES. all part of the joy of having a socialized medical system. and that overcrowding is not even the worst of it. outside of big cities it might take a couple or so hours, in an emergency to get to the closest hospital. and unless you are lucky, you then get to spend a few thousand dollars (yes you do get to pay for ambulance services), to get transported in an ambulance or helicopter, even further, to a hospital that is actually equipped to take care of anything other than relatively minor injuries or sickness.

These tests are useless, but the kicker to that is that they were designed to detect symptomatic infections with people with a higher viral load. The Canadian government bastardized its intended use and changed it as a tool to detect asymptomatic infection. It doesn’t work on asymptomatic infections, it wasn’t designed for that. We were using it to discriminate against the unvaccinated going to work in order for to inconvenience them enough to get the vaccine rather than test 3 x per week.

If you used them on symptomatic ppl like they were designed for they would be more accurate. Even on the box it had a label that says for canadas intended use statement visit here with a link to a website that flies in the face of the manufacturers intended use statement. No #ing wonder they don’t work.
