Iraqi security forces have surrounded Iraq’s most-wanted terrorist, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the country’s interior minister said today.

“We have not arrested al Zarqawi,” Interior Minister Falah al-Nakib said during a news conference. “He is surrounded in a certain area, and we hope for the best. This operation is ongoing. We hope that the situation will be completely different in Iraq at the end of this year.”

The Quest to catch the elusive al-Zarkawi continues.

We have heard so many stories about this hunt, and now he is "surrounded in a certain area".

is that "surrounded" as in the way that Osama Bin Laden was "surrounded" too, and managed to get away again and again and carry on making videos for Al-Jazeera?

Yea I understand what you mean.

Like Osama is "surrounded" somewhere between Afganistan and Pakistan,

Zarqawi is "surrounded" somwhere in Iraq.

Would be really ironic if he was actually "hiding" in Baghdad City!

Sometimes it is better if you "hide" somwhere, nobody expects! In the most obvious place.
