Why do countries have immigration laws? Gee that’s a tough one.

Look. Every person believes that humans have thieves freedom to move to other countries to live.
We also believe that in order to do so, you have to write your name on a piece of paper.
You can’t just sneak in.

The people who do sneak in. Are usually criminals, they would have their application refused, so they sneak in.

If that happens en masse, tens of thousands a year, year on year, for years, it causes a lot of problems.

Lower wages not being the least of the least of those problems. People who can’t pay tax tend to accept a lower wage for their work

All republicans support immigration, even President Trump, and all oppose ILLEGAL immigration.
Like every other countries government on Earth.

Because immigration and illegal immigration are not related and immigration laws are not related to race.

Every single immigration application goes through the exact same process, it is process as per procedure

Not in the UK, not in Russia, not in Nepal.
They have border security and laws too.

If millions of Poles were sneaking through the forests into Russian undocumented, Russia would beef up security.

I now see where our debate is. I don’t believe it’s based on a persons race. American immigration laws are very similar to those across the western world. Non discriminatory.

Pretty sure the people who work for immigration and process the applications would all have to be white supremacists or something. And that’s just not the case.

Their probably are countries with very discriminatory immigration policies but if I was to even mention some of them.......outrage. Because ‘discriminatory immigration laws’ isn’t really the agenda is it?
