I never said anyone is or should be perfect...my point was there are times when it’s wise to be unshakable and times when it isn’t.

There are many on this website for instance that have chosen a political side, not realising they are two wings of the the same bird. Yet they are unshakable in their support.

If terrible tragedies causing much suffering cannot disturb you because they are kept "outside" your being, why be concerned over whether they are deliberate or accidental?

The same way the law is concerned wether something is pre meditated or not. That’s my point about evil, if someone hurts me or another by accident it is one thing, if they do it on purpose, knowing the harm they cause it another.

If the stoic isn’t indifferent to good and evil they should understand that?
